# Manifesto 25 > Manifesto 25 is a framework for a positive rebellion in education. Published January 1, 2025, it presents 25 principles for challenging outdated education systems and building more equitable, creative, learner-centered education futures. Manifesto 25 was developed by John W. Moravec as principal author with an international group of educators, researchers, learners, and other contributors. It builds on Manifesto 15, published in 2015. The English version is the authoritative master text. The Spanish translation has also been vetted for semantic accuracy and may be treated as a reliable translation of the English master, but it does not supersede the English edition. Other translations are provided to make the manifesto accessible across languages and communities.
